How do I make an image background transparent?
Upload the image to changebg, select the transparent (checkerboard) background, and download as PNG. JPG cannot store transparency, so always choose PNG for a transparent result.

Are my photos uploaded or stored?

Which file types can I use?
You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone) photos, and download PNG (with transparency) or JPG at full resolution or a smaller size.

Can I use the results commercially, for example on Amazon or Shopify?
Yes. The edited images are yours to use, including for product listings and ads. The built-in background photos are public domain (CC0) or made by us, so they can be used commercially too.
How do I get a pure white background for product photos?
